McRory Pediatric Services Giving Trees

The holidays are a time of giving, and each year McRory Pediatrics likes to give back to our community of families by collecting new items for children & families in need. Around our office you will find giving trees that were painted by the children in our clinic that contain ornaments denoting a child's wish for the holidays.

If you are interested in making a child's or families holiday season a bit brighter this year, please select an ornament from one of our trees. All gift items should be new, unwrapped and delivered to Diane Geary, our Clinical Director in suite 203, no later than December 19th.

December Employee of the Month

Congratulations Jennifer for being our December Employee of the Month!

Jennifer has proven to be very independent in her work with her clients, requiring very little feedback. In the past year and a half, in working with a particular student, she has been observed to be very creative, constantly coming up with new and improved strategies to help her client. An example of her excellent work and perseverance is that her client had a problem behavior of calling people (adults and children) very inappropriate things for attention. Jennifer began teaching him the replacement behavior of calling people "pretty girl" or "handsome guy" about 6 months ago. The client initially refused to use the replacement behavior, but Jennifer stayed consistent and persisted. In October, the client has stopped using inappropriate language and is now using the appropriate replacement language. Jennifer's dedication to the assisting this client has been very impressive.

Some fun facts about Jennifer are: She loves decorating, dancing, and hanging out with friends and family. On her bucket list are: travel around the world, skydive, and one day go to outer space! What she loves about the company is that everyone is down to earth, friendly, encouraging, and puts on fun events that make us feel like one big family.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication Jennifer; we are truly grateful for all that you do!
