The McRory Pediatric Services Building Bridges Program is an intensive 1:1 early intervention program for young children ages 18 months to 3 years of age that have risk factors associated with autism or related disorders. The program utilizes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach designed to enhance the overall social-emotional, behavior, communication, self-help, motor, play and cognitive development in young children. The program offers daily ABA, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy and parent education/training.
Parents are considered an integral part of the therapy team and participate in the goal development, program planning, and the overall therapy process. Specifically, caregivers receive on-going daily training and support, along with weekly structured education classes, and on-going team meetings which ensures successful implementation of therapeutic strategies within the home.
